Coming from a background in athletics, I found yoga in an attempt to heal from a chronic injury acquired while playing collegiate level soccer. Finding relief in both the body and the mind after just one class awoken me to the spiritual power of this ancient practice. I have been practicing yoga now for over seven years and teaching yoga for over four. As a teacher I desire to offer students the opportunity to find their own inner peace. To be freed from the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual entanglements of this world in order to connect to themselves and others more deeply. When we can release tension in the mind, body, and soul the tension in our relationships and life begin to dissolve as well. Yoga is an opportunity to explore the depths of our existence and come out on the other side having gained peace of mind, stillness of heart, and an awakening of the soul. You can find me teaching open level practices as well as advanced flows. I feel no matter what shapes we are able to create with the physical body on our mats, the most liberating aspect of yoga is awakening to the condition of our heart and soul as we move through the ever changing practice of life!

Justin Wilson

Justin began his fitness journey back in 2013 when he decided to put down the McDonald's cheeseburger and pick up an apple and a dumbbell instead. Once weighing in at over 325 pounds, Justin has since transformed his life to a much healthier and wholesome one. After being a body builder for several years, he began to realize that physically he was in more pain than he ought to be, and mentally he was unsatisfied with life. Because of this physical discomfort and mental unease, yoga came into his life.
 
Justin began practicing in late 2016 and immediately fell in love with the practice. Yoga has brought him balance and harmony, peace and tranquility in all aspects of his life. He took a 200-hour teacher training beginning in the summer of 2017 and has since set a goal to be the best yogi and yoga instructor that he can be. Recently, Justin moved to Wilmington from his home in Hollywood, Florida. His only wish in life is to help others to become better versions of themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.
A one-hour class created for the yogi on the go! Get a fully sequenced practice with mindful movement, breath work, strengthening, flow, balance, core, intervals and stretching. This class is the perfect opportunity to practice a powerful flow and end restfully in savasana. In this ultra efficient approach to asana (yoga postures) and a balanced practice, you will leave feeling empowered, energized, and centered.The room will be heated, 85-95 degrees, keeping the body supple and promoting flexibility as it boosts the cardiovascular system.

All ability levels are welcome, as there will be modifications, options and specific alignment cues given throughout the class that appeal to all levels of practitioners. It is highly recommended that brand new beginner yogis partake in the beginner and /or basic level classes before joining an open-level class.
