Are you ready to meet a blissful experience on the water? Don't worry! We were beginners once too! Our beginner SUP Yoga class is perfect for those with little to no yoga or paddleboarding experience*.
Our seasoned SUPY teacher will first teach SUP and Yoga FUNdamentals on land before taking our skills into the water. Once we jump on our SUP boards we will try a few paddle drills to refine our technique and then paddle to our "floating yoga studio" where you will enjoy a basic yoga flow that helps to balance the muscles used in SUP. End your yoga practice with a delightful rest and mediation followed by a short paddle back to land. SUP Yoga helps to build core strength and integration while cultivating awareness of the true present moment.
This class is seasonal and is weather dependent. Classes will be canceled 30 minutes prior to class start time if weather is not in our favor.
*Swimming skills are required.
**Please preregister by 5:00pm the night prior to class. Pay online or by calling the studio. Once registered, you will receive an email with drop in location and details. Carpooling or biking to location is highly recommended, as parking is limited.
