The Longwave Yoga Advanced Teacher Training is a +300-hr program that will broaden your teaching skills and deepen your own personal practice. This training is a full life immersion. Our modern day lives often encourage a separation of our yoga practice and our "normal" lives. The teachings of yoga, however, are meant to be applied to every aspect of our lives, as they are timeless and infinite in nature. Sadhana is the Sanskrit word for consistent spiritual practice. This training not only provides an extensive education in many skills and specialties for yoga teachers, but provides the participant with the opportunity to adopt the yogic teachings as the foundation for their daily lives through regular meetings with faculty and mentors, observation and feedback, support of a kula, and exposure to well established yogis and experts in their fields.

This training will focus on cultivating an advanced understanding of how to effectively practice, teach and administer the teachings of yoga for various levels and conditions of students. This includes asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, therapeutics, hands-on assists, yoga philosophy, and yoga for specialty conditions.

Our unique program is a +300-hr comprehensive yoga teacher training recognized by Yoga Alliance. To join this program participants must have completed a 200-hour (or more) Yoga Teacher Training Program by a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga School (RYS) or school of equal reputability.

Minimum of one year of teaching experience or equivalent is requested.

Please have your letter of recommendation answer the following questions:

1. How do you know the applicant and for how long?

2. How would you describe the applicant’s personality?

3. Have you taken class with the applicant and if so, what unique qualities does the applicant possess that makes them a good teacher and guide in a yoga practice?

4. Describe applicant’s strong suits and areas for growth.

Once your application and letter of recommendation are submitted, you will be contacted to schedule an admissions interview with one or more of our facilitators. Upon completion of your application, you will receive a list of required materials.

You can choose your own adventure and move at your own pace. You can finish the program as quickly as two year or take five. We understand that life happens jobs change, babies arrive, and now global pandemics complicate the space around us.

The most unique aspect of this training is well rounded and diverse range of yoga education you gain. We offer a Yin course, Vinyasa workshops and training, and Mediation training. Your final practicum will be an apprenticeship with the specialty of your choice Yin, Vinyasa, or Meditation.
