Apprenticeship FAQ

Yes. Payment plans are available, however, payment must be completed by the end of the program. Please contact Program's Director for more information.
-
Yes. You must have Current teachers liability insurance listing Longwave Yoga as an “additional insured" (this is not an extra cost). You will need to provide proof of this insurance to the Program's Director at Longwave Yoga. Keep a duplicate copy of this insurance document for your file. Questions about this professional liability insurance can be directed to the Program's Director or your prospective Mentor.
-
Yes, you can participate in the paid Apprenticeship Program only. We do require you to be a graduate of a 200-hour program that is registered with Yoga Alliance, unless you undergo an interview and your program qualifications are approved. If you have chosen not to register with Yoga Alliance, you may still participate in the program, but you cannot teach any public classes at Longwave Yoga. If you would like to complete a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program that is registered with Yoga Alliance, you can find more info HERE.
-
We do not offer longer apprenticeships than 12 weeks, and these programs refine and deepen the understanding of what is covered in a 200-hour teaching training while gaining practical experience of teaching. If you would like to learn more about the subtle body, anatomy, alignment, advanced art of assists, sequencology, Sanskrit, yogic scripture, chanting, and more, you should apply for our 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training. Find more information on that HERE.
